Menstrual Health Education

There's been a correlation between lack of education and poor health outcomes of women and girls in impoverished communities.

Hence, educating underprivileged women and girls is a critical step towards liberating them from menstrual poverty and gender violence. PERIOD! When women and girls are educated, "the world as a whole will benefit from a fresh infusion of human intelligence."

We normalize conversations about menstruation, menstrual equity, and menstrual health because some cultural beliefs and stigmas around menstruation have negative effects on women and girls.

We normalize conversations about menstruation to reduce the shame and misconceptions because menstruation is not filthy. PERIOD!!

Menstrual Products

Menstrual poverty is a public health crisis. PERIOD!!

Menstrual products are not luxuries; they are necessities. PERIOD!!

Menstrual products are unaffordable and unaccessible for women and girls who are living in poverty.

We bridge these gaps by delivering menstrual products to women and girls who cannot afford them.

Partnership

Everyone has a PERIOD story.

PERIOD don't stop in homelessness

PERIOD don't stop in unemployment

PERIOD don't stop in pandemics

Promoting menstrual equity necessitates access to menstrual products. We can provide sustainable access to menstrual products for women and girls who cannot afford them through collaboration with other organizations, sponsors, and donors.

S.W.A.G, Inc partnered with @fcfaglobal and @fundapadinitiative on November 13th, 2021 to distribute menstrual products to 200 girls and women in the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) CAMP in Abuja, Nigeria.
