On November 1st, 2021, Strengthening Women's Affirmation and Gifts (S.W.A.G), Incorporated was founded in response to the global need to promote menstrual equity, eradicate menstrual poverty, increase access to menstrual products, menstrual health, and education.
Through educational and practical discussions, S.W.A.G., Inc. is dedicated to eliminating menstrual poverty by tearing down menstrual beliefs, misconceptions, myths, and stigmas that negatively impact the health and well-being of women and girls.
Our services extend beyond our local community to some regions of Sub-Saharan Africa by providing underprivileged women and girls with menstrual health education and accessible menstrual products.
To eradicate menstrual poverty through education and empowerment.
Our vision is parallel with the Sustainable Development Goals of ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all (SDG 3), ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all (SDG 4), and achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls (SDG 5).
